hanging around

I've been walking in the mornings, and this is one of the bunnies that I pass on my route. I don't know for sure what it is doing there - Is it wild? Was it an Easter present that ran away? Who knows! What I do know is that there are three of them, and they are all a bit camera-shy.


The other morning we went fishing and this pelican was hanging around the dock.


At a different dock I caught this bluefish. Notice the scenic condo construction going on in the background. Ah, progress...


At home, we have this beautiful herb garden where we grow green AND purple basil, thyme, sage, mint, & marigolds. We hope to add parsley and cilantro soon.


"Snakes.... Why did it have to be snakes?" Indiana Jones better stay away from our house! This black racer was hiding out under John's car. From the looks of him, he has been hiding under alot of cars - the last third of him looked as if it had been run over and then healed. He couldn't slither so well on the concrete, but in the grass he had no problems.


And here is Minnie doing one of her two favorite activities: napping. Her other favorite activity is catching/ maiming lizards. Thankfully, we have no pictures of that.
